Venice
The highlight of the trip would probably have to be Venice. In what other city could you look around for something to draw and no matter where you look, there's something pleasing to the eye. Venice is such a place. Sure it's touristy and expensive etc, but what a fun place to sketch. Burano Just outside Venice is the tiny island of Burano. A fishing and lace-making town. What makes this place special, is the painted colour of the buildings.
If you like colour, this is the place for you. Despite, the strong bright colours, the entire little fishing village manages to create a theme of unity. It all manages to work cohesively.
